How this calculator works
Most people pick an ad budget by gut feel. A better way is to start from the result you want and what you can afford to pay for it:
- Budget for your goal = results you want per month × target cost per result ÷ days you run ads.
- Learning-friendly budget = target cost per result × 50 ÷ 7, per ad set. Meta's delivery system learns best when an ad set gets around 50 optimisation events a week.
If your budget can't reach the learning-friendly level, don't split it across many ad sets — concentrate it, or optimise for an event that happens more often.
How much should a small business spend on Facebook ads in Pakistan?
Many small businesses in Pakistan start testing around PKR 500 per day, and steadier results often need PKR 700 – 2,000+ per day. The right number for you depends on your cost per result — which depends on your offer, creative and audience. Our Facebook ads cost guide covers typical CPC and CPM ranges.
Tips to get more results from the same budget
- Test several creatives inside one ad set rather than many ad sets with one creative each.
- Use broad audiences once your pixel has data — let the algorithm find buyers.
- Fix your landing page speed before increasing budget.
- Track conversions properly with the pixel and Conversions API.
FAQ
What is the learning phase in Facebook ads?
When you launch or significantly edit an ad set, Meta's system explores who to show it to. Performance is less stable during this period. It generally exits learning after about 50 optimisation events within a week.
Should I use daily or lifetime budget?
Daily budgets are simpler for always-on campaigns. Lifetime budgets suit fixed-date promotions and let you schedule ads to specific hours.
Can I run Facebook ads with PKR 500 a day?
Yes, as a test. With a small budget, run one ad set with 2–4 creatives and optimise for an event that happens often enough for Meta to learn.
